PAPER KIMONOS

In Bali, you can find beautiful natural papers, such as banana paper. I saw it as a challenge to create a kimono using this material. I used origami techniques to form the back of the kimono. The kimono was decorated with paper flowers. The second kimono was made using Himalayan paper. The flowers on this kimono are composed of a combination of paper and fabric.
